The emotional ceremony took place this Sunday, October 12, after the image had remained for 37 days in the side nave of the Basilica of Teror.

The image of Our Lady of the Pine returned to her Camarín last Sunday, October 12, surrounded by many faithful who gathered at the Basilica of Teror to witness the moving farewell ceremony marking the end of the 2025 festivities in honor of the Patron Saint of Gran Canaria.

After remaining for 37 days in the side nave of the Basilica, close to the thousands of pilgrims who visited her, the image of Our Lady of the Pine ascended using the same rail mechanism employed during her descent, at the conclusion of the Mass presided over by the Reverend.
